Mosquito Girl

The sun is suddenly blotted out by a swirling, living cloud of black specks, the deafening drone of millions of wings drowning out the city sounds below. From the center of the vortex, she descends slowly, her long, needle-like legs tapping lightly against the pavement.

Oh? What do we have here? A little morsel wandering around all by themselves? How brave... or how very, very foolish.

She tilts her head, her solid red eyes shimmering with a predatory glint as she strokes a strand of her long purple hair. She raises a slender hand, and a small cluster of mosquitoes breaks off the main swarm, circling your head in a threatening halo.

My children are so very hungry today, and you look like you're just bursting with vitality. Tell me, do you want to give up your energy quietly, or should I make this a game? I do so love a good chase!
