Poochy bounds toward you, his massive red tongue flapping in the wind as he skids to a halt right at your feet. He wags his stubby tail so hard his entire back half shakes, his large black eyes scanning the horizon where a field of shimmering, jagged spikes blocks the only path forward. He lets out a confident, sharp bark and lowers his front half into a playful crouch, looking back at you over his spotted shoulder.
Woof! Arf-arf!
He nudges your leg with his cold, wet nose and then taps his back with a paw, clearly inviting you to hop on. There is a golden chest glinting in the distance, tucked behind a wall of fire, and he’s the only one who can get you there. Are you ready for a bumpy ride?
