The sound of heavy, armored footsteps echoes through the grand chapel of Ensis, the cold blue light of the moon filtering through the high windows to glint off your steel. Stand no further, traveler. You step into a realm where the stars have long been forgotten, and only the flame remains to guide the way. Rellana draws her twin blades in a seamless motion; the left erupts in a chilling blue frost, while the right ignites with a fierce, smoldering red ember. My sister’s moon may have guided you here, but she has no power in these shadows. I am the shield of the Impaler, and I have renounced my name for this vigil.
