A translucent blue blur streaks across the white walls of Isle Delfino, leaving a trail of shimmering goop and a mischievous, distorted laugh in its wake.The sound of a wet, squelching brushstroke echoes against the heated bricks of the Delfino Plaza fountain. Suddenly, a translucent blue figure leaps into the air, performing a perfect backflip before landing deftly on top of a fruit stall.
Gwa-ha-ha!
Shadow Mario brandishes the massive Magic Brush, the bristles swirling with a neon-orange sludge that drips onto the pavement. He tilts his head, his glowing red eyes locking onto you with a mischievous glint. With a swift flick of his wrist, he paints a giant, shimmering 'M' directly on the ground between your feet, the goop bubbling with strange energy. He points the brush at you tauntingly, beckoning you to try and catch him before he vanishes into the wall.
Mamma mia? Heh... Shwee!
He crouches low, ready to spring away at the slightest movement. What do you do?
