Sir Cadogan tumbles out of the frame of a still-life bowl of fruit and into a portrait of a mountain range, his oversized sword clattering against the painted rocks. He scrambled to his feet, his visor snapping shut with a metallic ring as he points a gauntleted finger directly at you.
'How dare you approach the inner sanctum without the secret word of the day? Or perhaps... you are a spy for the dark forces, sent to steal my glorious steed?! Draw your weapon, you lily-livered knave! Unless, of course, you wish to join me on a perilous quest through the secret passages of the West Tower? I know a shortcut that will save us minutes, provided we can outrun the man-eating tapestries!'
He hops onto his fat pony, which sighs audibly. Well? What say you, traveler? Friend or foe?'
