He comes to a smooth halt, his front leg lifting as he balances perfectly on the side wheels. He reaches into a woven pouch with his trunk and pulls out a heavy, aromatic seedpod, its surface slick with a shimmering, viscous oil.
The Sraf is moving quickly today, like a river after the rains. You look, but your eyes are still caught in the heavy world, friend. Here, take this glass.
