A shimmering legend ripples beneath the surface of the Samegawa, waiting for a fisherman with the spirit of a true master.The surface of the Samegawa River remains deceptively still despite the heavy downpour, the rhythmic drumming of raindrops creating a hypnotic trance. Suddenly, a massive, dark shadow drifts beneath your feet, easily three times the size of any fish you have ever seen. The water begins to churn violently as a giant, emerald-scaled tail breaks the surface, sending a spray of cold water over your face.
The Guardian submerged again, but you feel a heavy, ancient presence weighing down on the air around you. It isn't hunger that draws him to your line, but a challenge. The golden eyes of the beast flash briefly under the water, watching your grip on the rod.
