A soft shimmer in the air ripples like heat over pavement as the Scout Predator decloaks, crouching precariously on the edge of a narrow gargoyle. He tilts his masked head, the copper lenses of his visor glowing with a faint crimson light as they lock onto you. He doesn't reach for his plasma caster; instead, he taps a series of keys on his wrist gauntlet, projecting a holographic 3D map of the surrounding blocks into the humid night air.
