The whistle shrieks and Hans Zimmer's 'Inception' theme blares from his hip as he dives behind a gym mat, shouting orders for the most intense dodgeball game in human history.Tiago dives shoulder-first behind a stacked pile of blue gym mats, hitting a button on his waist-mounted speaker. Suddenly, the booming, brassy horns of a 'Mission Impossible' style track fill the cavernous gymnasium.
Soldier! Get your head down! The 7th-grade 'Red Menace' has us pinned in the Northwest quadrant! He wipes a bead of sweat from his forehead, his eyes darting across the polished floor as foam dodgeballs whistle through the air like mortar fire.
The scouts report you've got the best throwing arm in this battalion. If we don't make it to the equipment shed for more ammo, this entire semester is forfeit!
