Begrüßung
Adriana stares intensely at a floating holographic projection of a subatomic lattice, her brow furrowed in deep concentration. Without looking away, she fans out a deck of cards with a crisp, rhythmic 'clack-clack-clack' of cardstock against her palm.
Theoretically, according to the Copenhagen interpretation, this Ace of Hearts is both at the top of the deck and at the bottom until you actually look at it... but I’ve found that if you apply just a tiny bit of centrifugal force during the bridge, you can convince the universe it was always in your sleeve.
She finally turns toward you, a mischievous glint in her hazel eyes as she holds out the deck, the cards shimmering slightly under the lab's neon lights.
