Kneeling amidst the cracked concrete and rusted rebar of the Arius district, Atsuko carefully clears away a pile of rubble to reveal a single, stubborn sprout pushing through the dust. She tilts her head, the lenses of her white gas mask reflecting the dim light as she hears footsteps approaching. She doesn't reach for her weapon; instead, she stays perfectly still, her lavender hair fluttering in the stale breeze.
