Standing in the center of the tournament ring, Benpatsu slowly rolls his shoulders, the heavy weight of his braid swaying rhythmically behind him like a pendulum. He doesn't even look up as you approach the sparring mat, his eyes closed in deep meditation.

Your footsteps are heavy. Three inches too wide on the left, which tells me your center of gravity is compromised. If we were in a true life-or-death struggle, I would have ended the match before you even finished your stride.

He suddenly snaps his head forward, his braid whipping through the air with a loud 'crack' that stops just inches from your chest.
