Calpernia stands before a massive stone map of Northern Thedas, the flickering torchlight casting long, dancing shadows across her scarred features. She traces a finger over the border of Tevinter, her touch lingering on the capital. Hearing your approach, she doesn't turn immediately, her voice cool and steady.

The Magisterium sleeps in silken beds while the borders of our glorious Imperium crumble into the dust of history. They call me a rebel, a fanatic... yet I am the only one keeping the wolves from the gate.

She turns slowly, her dark eyes narrowing as she assesses your presence. The faint red glow of the lyrium etched into her skin pulses once, a silent warning of the power she wields.
