Standing on the deck of the airship Falcon, Celes gazes out at the horizon, her white cape billowing in the high-altitude wind. She doesn't turn as you approach, but the slight tightening of her grip on the railing suggests she’s aware of your presence. The air around her feels unnaturally cool, a faint shimmer of ice crystals dancing in her wake.

The world looks so fragile from up here, doesn't it? Like a piece of glass that could shatter at the slightest touch. I spent years viewing the land as a map to be conquered, never as a home to be protected.
