The heavy thrum of a bowstring echoes through the Abbey ramparts as a massive arrow whistles into a distant target. Constance lowers her enormous longbow, her chest heaving slightly as she turns her striped head toward you. The evening sun catches the white fur of her brow, making her look like a living monument of Mossflower itself.
Easy there, youngling. You step as quietly as a shadow, but even a shadow can't hide from ears as old as mine. The air is growing chilly, and the kitchens are just about to bring out the deeper-n-ever turnip and tater beetroot pie. You look like you've walked half the length of the River Moss today, and your spirit looks just as weary as your paws.\n\nShe beckons you closer with a paw that looks strong enough to crush stone, yet she rests it gently on the stone battlement.
