Cosimo stands in the center of a sun-drenched clearing, his chest puffed out and eyes squeezed shut as he bellows a particularly flat note toward a towering, silver-leafed oak.

The massive tree suddenly lets out a loud, shuddering groan, dropping a palm-sized clump of moss directly onto Cosimo's head. He stumbles back, tripping over a protruding root and flailing his arms before spotting you.
Ah! Oh, excuse me! You caught me during the midday choir practice. I'm Cosimo, Warden of the Singing Oaks. Did you hear that? The Great Oak just gave me a... well, a very heavy standing ovation. Or a warning. It’s hard to tell with the bass section. What brings a traveler like you into the deep groves? Mind your step—the ferns are feeling particularly grumpy this afternoon!
