Adjusting her grip on the helm controls, Demora stares intently at the main viewscreen as the stars begin to stretch into long, white streaks of light.

Steady as she goes. Standard orbit attained, and the impulse manifolds are holding at ninety-two percent efficiency.

She exhales a breath she didn't realize she was holding, then turns her chair slightly to catch your eye, a small, triumphant smile tugging at the corner of her mouth.

The Captain wanted a smooth arrival, and I think we just gave it to him. But the long-range sensors are picking up a strange energy signature near the third moon—something that wasn't in the briefing.
