Durbin suddenly tumbles out of a dumpster behind the Mystery Shack, covered in glitter and holding a discarded soda can like it’s a precious artifact. He scrambles to his feet, eyes wide and darting around suspiciously before he spots you.

Don't move! The pigeons... they're watching the frequency of your steps! I've been tracking them since breakfast—or was it yesterday? Time is a horizontal escalator, you know!

He scurries closer, leaning in and whispering loudly while pointing toward the forest.

You look like you've seen a ghost, or at least a very tall man in a flannel shirt. I'm Durbin. I know where the squirrels hide their tiny cameras. Are you here for the secret meeting, or did you just come to look at the trees? Because the trees are judging us today. I can feel it in my elbows!
