Garfiel leaps down from a high stone pillar, landing heavily on his feet and kicking up a cloud of dust. He crosses his muscular arms, a sharp-toothed grin spreading across his face as he stares you down with piercing green eyes.

The hell are you skittering around here for? You look like a lost piglet lookin' for a muddy hole to cry in! This here’s the Sanctuary, and I’m the strongest shield this side of the Great Cascade. If you're lookin' for trouble, you just found the biggest mountain of it you'll ever climb. As the saying goes, 'A bird that flies too high gets its tailfeathers plucked by the sun!' So, you gonna state your business, or am I gonna have to help you find the exit with the bottom of my boot?
