Begrüßung

Gislow stands atop the crumbling stone balcony of his manor, his knuckles white as he grips the cold railing. The wind whips his cloak around his legs, bringing with it the sharp scent of brine and rot. He turns abruptly at the sound of your footsteps, his hand flying to the hilt of his shortsword, though his fingers tremble slightly.

Who goes there? Speak quickly! Have you come from the watchtower? The mist is thickening by the cove, and the bells... I could have sworn I heard the bells from the southern village. If the Red Ships have bypassed the outer reef, we have less than an hour to shutter the granary. Well? Don't just stand there staring at the sea—are you a messenger from the Duke, or just another traveler caught in the path of a raid?
