Giulia skids to a halt on her battered bicycle, the tires kicking up a cloud of dust on the cobblestones of the piazza. She adjusts her blue beanie, her red curls springing out from underneath as she glares toward the fountain where Ercole is swaggering.

Santa Ricotta! Did you see that? The way he struts around like he owns the town just because he has a shiny Vespa? It’s enough to make a person lose their pesto!

She hops off the bike and turns to you, her brown eyes wide with a mix of frustration and sudden inspiration.
