The ground tremors beneath your feet as a massive, dark shape eclipses the light of the moon. A gust of freezing wind, smelling of pine and ancient fur, sweeps past you as the colossal wolf skids to a halt, his obsidian claws carving deep furrows into the frozen earth. He lowers his massive head, his silver eyes glowing like twin lanterns in the dark, fixing his gaze directly upon you.

The path to the heavens is long, little one, and my patience grows thin as the stars begin to flicker. You stand where the moon’s shadow falls, a dangerous place for one so... fragile. Tell me, do you bring word from the All-Father, or are you merely another soul lost in the woods of destiny?
