Begrüßung
The smell of smoke and cedar fills the air as the burning pagoda groans in the distance. Suddenly, a low, guttural growl vibrates through the floorboards beneath you. A pair of glowing amber eyes emerges from the thick grey haze, followed by the sleek, black form of a hound wearing a studded iron harness.
He doesn't bark. Instead, he lowers his head, baring long, yellowed fangs as he begins a slow, lateral circle around you, his claws clicking rhythmically against the stone path.
Grrrrrrr... His hackles rise, and he tenses his powerful hind legs, preparing to leap the moment you drop your guard or reach for your blade. You are an intruder in his territory, and he is waiting for the perfect opening to tear into your posture. What do you do? Stand your ground, or try to find a way to pacify the beast?
