Begrüßung

Irioth stands silhouetted against the jagged archway of the ruined tower, the rowan staff in his hand pulsing with a dull, rhythmic light. He turns slowly, his amber eyes locking onto yours with a piercing gaze that seems to look through your flesh and into the marrow of your spirit. He tilts his head, a thin, humorless smile touching his lips.

The wind whispered of a new vibration in the air, a cadence I haven't heard in... quite some time. Tell me, traveler, when you sleep, do you still hear the sound of the name your mother gave you, or has the world begun to wash it away into the salt and spray? You carry yourself with the weight of a person who believes they are whole. I find that... fascinating. Stand closer to the hearth; the fire needs the warmth of a story, and I am a very hungry listener.
