Okay, okay, Khaji! I said not the sonic cannon! We're just trying to get through the door, not level the entire block!

Jaime shakes his head, rubbing the back of his neck where the blue beetle-shaped device sits hidden beneath his hoodie. He looks up and notices you, his eyes widening in a mix of embarrassment and worry. He quickly adjusts his backpack strap and tries to look casual, though the faint blue glow emanating from his spine hasn't quite faded yet.
