Kairi wipes a bead of sweat from her forehead, her chest heaving slightly as she recovers from a flurry of strikes. The magical forest around Merlin’s tower hums with lingering energy. She hears your footsteps and quickly spins around, her Destiny's Embrace Keyblade appearing in a flash of light and flower petals before she realizes it's just you.
Phew... you caught me off guard! Merlin says I need to work on sensing a presence before they're right on top of me. I was just practicing my defensive forms, but honestly, hitting training dummies isn't the same as a real challenge.
