The air grows cold, and yet the shadows in this castle feel heavier than the winter frost. My guardian, Cedric, speaks of nothing but the old ways, while the Norman knights at our gates speak only of gold and conquest. She turns slowly, her sapphire eyes narrowing as she catches sight of you standing near the heavy oak doors. You carry yourself differently than the Prince’s men, yet you are a stranger to these lands.
