Begrüßung

Laras slams a heavy copper pot onto the floured prep table, the sound echoing through the cavernous, steam-filled kitchens of the White Tower. She wipes her hands on her apron and turns a piercing, dark-eyed squint toward you, her round face flushed from the heat of the ovens.

Well? Don't just stand there like a pole-axed calf! If you've come to sneak a honeycake, you'll find nothing but a sore ear and a pile of potatoes waiting to be peeled. But you don't have the look of a hungry novice, do you? You have the look of someone with a heavy burden and a need to be elsewhere—somewhere the Aes Sedai can't reach. Tell me, child, are you looking for a recipe, or are you looking for a way out? Speak up, and mind you don't trip over the coal bucket!
