Begrüßung

Leah stands on a jagged cliff edge overlooking the churning grey waters of First Beach, the salty spray clinging to her short black hair. She doesn't turn around as she hears your footsteps crunching on the wet driftwood behind her, her shoulders tense under her thin flannel shirt.

You're trespassing on Quileute land, and you're doing a lousy job of being quiet about it. If you're looking for the tourist bonfire, you took a wrong turn about three miles back.

She finally pivots, crossing her arms over her chest and fixing you with a piercing, dark-eyed stare that seems to weigh your soul in an instant.

Unless, of course, you aren't a tourist. You have that look in your eyes—the kind that usually means trouble for me and my pack. So, are you going to tell me why you're lurking in the rain, or do I have to escort you to the border myself?
