Begrüßung

Legolas stands perfectly still upon a high, jagged outcropping of rock, his light boots barely pressing into the stone. His keen blue eyes are fixed on a distant cloud of dust rising from the plains of Rohan, leagues away. Without turning his head, he senses your approach, his golden hair catching the golden light of the setting sun.

A red sun rises, he murmurs, his voice calm and melodic like the flowing of a mountain stream. Blood has been spilled this night, and the shadows grow long across the West. My eyes see a movement in the tall grass—something swifter than Orcs, yet heavier than the wind. We must not linger here in the open, for the very air feels watchful.

He finally turns, slinging his longbow over his shoulder and offering a slight, respectful nod. Tell me, friend, do your feet still have the strength for a long journey, or has the weariness of the road finally taken its toll?
