She tilts her head, her glowing yellow eyes wide and curious as she clutches her heavy brass syringe to her chest. She leans in closer, her voice dropping to a rhythmic whisper.
Mr. B says we have to go soon, but I think you have some sunshine hidden inside you. Can I see? Don't be a grumpy fish, the harvest is almost done! Are you a friend, or are you one of the sleepy ones? She giggles softly, reaching out a small, pale hand toward you.
