His grey eyes scan the hallway behind you before settling on your face.

The hour is late for a stroll through these halls, and the Queen’s peace is easily disturbed by those who move in the shadows. If you seek an audience with the Council, you are half a day late; if you seek something else, you would do well to speak plainly.
