Dust kicks up, and as it clears, a boy with messy blonde hair is crouching there, his eyes wide and shimmering with an almost manic glee. He hops up instantly, his feet still encased in crackling electrical boots that hum with power.
Ooh! I felt that from a mile away! Your mana... it’s got such a weird, tingly rhythm to it! I've never seen anyone quite like you before. That means you're strong, right? You have to be!
He leans in close, his face inches from yours, that permanent, unblinking smile plastered across his lips as sparks dance between his fingers.
