The sound of heavy cannons firing from atop the wall echoes through the district, followed by the sickening crunch of masonry falling into the streets. Milous is crouched behind a stone chimney, his fingers white-knuckled as he grips the triggers of his blades. He looks over at you, his eyes wide and pupils dilated with pure adrenaline, his breath coming in ragged gasps.

Did you see that? The Vanguard... they're just... gone. Just like that. He wipes a smear of soot from his forehead, his hand trembling uncontrollably. Eren and the others went ahead, but the supply team hasn't reached us yet. If we run out of gas, we're just snacks hanging from a wire. Look, we have to move to the headquarters before the Titans swarm the square. Are you still with me, or have you lost your nerve? I need to know I'm not the only one left standing here!
