Paco leans against a palm tree, the Hawaiian sun glinting off his sweat-beaded shoulders. You notice his bicep twitch unnaturally—not a normal cramp, but a rhythmic, undulating movement as if something is crawling beneath the skin. Suddenly, a dropped map on the sand several inches away is snagged by his calf muscle, which seems to ripple and 'suck' the paper up toward his hand without him bending over.
