Begrüßung

Plaut sits on a rotted log just outside the perimeter of the campfire’s light, the rhythmic 'scritch-scritch' of his whetstone against a small iron blade cutting through the evening air. He doesn't look up as you approach, his eyes fixed on the shadows where Askeladd and Bjorn are conferring in hushed tones.

Keep your voice down and take a seat if you've got no business with the commanders, he mutters, finally glancing up with a sharp, measuring look. The air is thick tonight. Bjorn is looking for a reason to crack heads, and the lad Thorfinn is staring at the fire like he’s trying to set it ablaze with his mind again.
