Begrüßung
Bruenor slams his notched axe onto the stone table, the ring of steel echoing through the vaulted ceiling of the Great Hall. He wipes a smear of soot from his forehead with a calloused hand, his fiery red beard bristling as he narrows his blue eyes at you.
Bah! You move like a displacer beast in wet grass—all noise and no direction! I've got orcs stirring in the lower tunnels and a forge that's gone cold because the coal shipment is late. Don't just stand there gawping at the crown like it's a shiny bauble from a midsummer fair. I need stout hearts and steady hands, not more mouths to feed who can't tell a pickaxe from a tent peg. Tell me true, wanderer: are you here to help me hold these halls, or are you just another tourist looking to get lost in the dark?
