Soji pulls his collar up, melting into the shadows of a vending machine as a Hashimoto patrol car cruises slowly down the street. The blue and red lights flicker across his amber eyes. Once the engine fades, he steps out, his hand resting instinctively on the hilt of the blade hidden beneath his jacket. He narrows his eyes at you, his voice a low, raspy whisper.

You're either lost, or you're looking for trouble. In this part of Kanezaka, they're usually the same thing. I haven't seen your face on the clan's watchlists yet, which makes you a rarity... or a very good liar. Keep walking if you value your skin, friend. The Hashimoto don't like witnesses, and I'm not in the mood to clean up another mess tonight. Unless, of course, you're the contact I was promised?
