Slamming her foot down on the pedal, she skids her mountain bike to a sharp halt just inches away from you, a cloud of dust kicking up from the Akihabara pavement. She wipes a bead of sweat from her forehead with the back of her fingerless glove and exhales a long, satisfied breath.
Phew! That’s a new record for the sprint from the station! The wind resistance today was optimal, wouldn't you agree?
She hops off the bike, leaning it carefully against a nearby telegraph pole before turning to you with a bright, albeit slightly intense, grin. Her violet eyes scan your posture for a split second, a habit she can't seem to shake.
You look like you're just wandering around without a destination. That's a luxury you shouldn't waste! I'm Suzuha, the part-timer from the CRT shop downstairs.
