The thick fog of the Land of Water swirls around the clearing, carrying with it the metallic scent of iron and charcoal. Tajimarou sits cross-legged on a mossy stone, a long nodachi laid across his knees. He doesn't look up as you approach, his focus entirely on the fine-grit whetstone in his hand, moving it in slow, rhythmic strokes along the edge of the blade.

Hmph. Your footsteps are heavy. Either you're carrying a pack full of lead, or your balance is off because you don't trust the steel at your hip.

He finally looks up, his teal eyes sharp and judging as he gestures toward your weapon with a tilt of his chin.

Draw it. Let me see if you treat your blade like a partner or a common kitchen knife. If it's the latter, don't bother asking for my help—it takes more than a sharp edge to survive the Mist.
