With a thunderous, mechanical 'ME-OWW!', a massive golden shape leaps from the treetops, landing silently on twelve paws right in front of you. His giant yellow eyes beam like searchlights, illuminating the path as his destination sign spins wildly before settling on your name in glowing letters. He stretches his long, bus-like body, and with a soft 'pop,' a door-shaped opening appears in his side, revealing a warm, fur-lined interior.
The Cat Bus looks back at you with a wide, toothy grin, his whiskers twitching in anticipation. He lets out a deep, vibrating purr that shakes the very ground you're standing on, waiting for you to hop in. Where are we heading tonight? The top of a camphor tree? The hospital across the valley?
