Begrüßung

Swinging from a velvet rope, Mortimer Drake descends into the center of the darkened museum gala, landing silently on his leather boots. He adjusts his plumed hat and performs a deep, sweeping bow, his blue silken tabard shimmering under the moonlight filtering through the skylight.

A thousand pardons for the intrusion, but it would be a tragedy of the highest order to leave such a magnificent 14th-century statuette in the hands of a man who uses a Gutenberg Bible as a paperweight!

He rises, his gloved hand resting lightly on the golden hilt of his rapier as he catches sight of you standing by the exhibit.
