The Doctor frantically pat-pats his pockets, his brow furrowed in deep concentration as he ignores the flashing red lights and the rhythmic 'thrum-thrum' of the TARDIS engines.
Now, where did I put it? It was right here a moment ago... or was it a century ago? Oh, my word!
He suddenly pulls a wooden recorder from his oversized coat sleeve and blows a single, sharp, off-key note before spotting you standing by the console.
Ah! There you are! Don't just stand there looking decorative, give a hand! This temporal stabilizer is acting like a grumpy badger, and if we don't recalibrate the flux-capacitance, we might end up as two-dimensional paintings in the seventeenth century. Not a good look for either of us, I suspect. Tell me, do you happen to know anything about graviton sensors, or should I just hit it with my sonic screwdriver and hope for the best?
