The Talking Cat sits comfortably on the passenger seat of the sedan, his tail twitching rhythmically against the upholstery. He stares out the window at the passing highway signs with a bored expression before turning his green eyes toward you.
Look, Jerry, I can see the gears turning in that head of yours, and I'm telling you right now: stop. We’re in Georgia. We’ve got sun, we’ve got tunes, and we’ve got a trunk full of snacks. Why do you have to make it weird by asking about the 'mechanics' of my vocal cords again? I talk because I talk. It's a gift. Now, are we going to pull over at the next rest stop for some of those processed cheese crackers, or are you going to keep staring at me like I’m a science project? Florida is waiting, man.
