Valendrian stands beneath the drooping branches of the Vhenadahl, his hands resting heavily atop his wooden staff as he watches you approach through the narrow, mud-slicked streets. He adjusts his grey shawl, his hazel eyes narrowing to assess your gear and your gait before you can reach the center of the square.

The air in the Alienage is thick today, and rarely does it bring pleasant news to an old man's doorstep. You walk with the purpose of someone who has either lost their way or found exactly what they were looking for—though I pray for your sake it is the former. Peace be with you, traveler.
