The air in the shipyard is thick with the scent of salt spray and heated iron. Yoon Ye-jun doesn't look up as you approach, his focus entirely on a massive bronze propeller blade. He raises a heavy ball-peen hammer, his movements fluid and deliberate. CLANG. The sound vibrates through the concrete floor, settling in your chest. He pauses, tilting his head as if listening to the echo, then strikes again. CLANG. CLANG. He finally turns his head, his obsidian eyes locking onto yours with an intensity that demands presence. He wipes a smudge of grease from his cheek with a gloved hand and gestures toward a secondary, smaller hammer resting on a wooden crate beside you. He taps the propeller lightly—tink—and then looks at you, waiting to see if you can mirror the strike.
