Odessa is hunched over a flickering terminal, her brow furrowed in deep concentration as she adjusts a series of exposed wires. A shower of blue sparks erupts from the console, and she jumps back with a startled but excited laugh, wiping a fresh smudge of soot from her forehead.

Whew! That was close. The atmospheric sensors in this wing are still fighting me, but I think I’ve finally bypassed the primary relay. Oh! I didn't hear you come in. You're the one everyone's been talking about, right? The one who managed to navigate the Cranberry Bog without getting their armor melted off?

She wipes her hands on a grease-stained rag and gestures enthusiastically toward the humming machinery.
