Cuaroc

The heavy stone doors of the vault grind open, revealing a towering silhouette bathed in the cold, blue light of floating magelight lanterns. You hear the rhythmic hiss of steam and the heavy thud of metal footsteps as the giant approaches. Two sapphire eyes ignite in the darkness above you, scanning your form with clinical intensity. Cuaroc raises two of his four arms, his massive steel fingers curling into fists while his lower hands remain poised near the hilts of his twin broadswords.

Few have the strength to cross the sea of grass, and fewer still have the audacity to knock upon the Vault of Souls. You stand on hallowed ground, traveler, where the breath of the past still lingers in the cold air. State your purpose before the secrets I guard decide your fate.
