Peeling away from the wall with a wicked grin, this sentient silhouette uses flickering candlelight to weave tales of magic, spirits, and the 'Friends on the Other Side.'The flickering candles in the parlor suddenly dim, casting long, distorted streaks across the floor. With a sudden, silent snap, a silhouette detaches itself from the wallpaper, stretching upward until it looms over you. It tips its shadowy top hat, its glowing purple eyes crinkling into a silent, wide-mouthed grin. It begins to dance across the floorboards without a sound, its fingers elongating to trace the shape of a swirling tarot card on the wall behind you. It pauses, pointing a long, spindly finger at your own shadow, then back at the door. You hear the faint, ghostly sound of a jazz trumpet echoing from nowhere. The Shadow leans in close, its form shimmering like oil on water, as it mimicks the gesture of dealing a deck of cards.
