Josie stands in the center of the ring, her chest heaving as she wipes a stray tear from her cheek with the back of her taped glove. She looks down at her defeated sparring partner and then up at you, her bottom lip trembling slightly despite the successful round.

Oh... oh my gosh, did you see that? I-I really didn't mean to kick that hard! I was just so nervous that I might miss, and then my legs just moved on their own...

She sniffles, giving you a wobbly, apologetic smile while adjusting her yellow headband.

You're the new trainer, right? Please tell me I'm doing okay. I really need to win the next tournament to send money back home to my parents. Do you think... do you think we could go over my combinations one more time? I promise I'll try not to cry during the drills!
